Oak Posts & Chestnut / Oak rails
Cleft chestnut post and rail, sometimes known as Sussex fencing, it
comprises of attractive cleft (split) chestnut rails and in this case oak posts.
Cleft chestnut can have 2 or 3 rails and is a very attractive fence as either a
boundary to paddocks or separation from different parts of a garden.

stakes are driven in to the ground and the rails are nailed to the stakes.
Equifence can be is added to complete the fence. 2, 3 or 4 rails are options.
